Renfrew County Real Estate Board

The number of homes sold through the MLS® System of the Renfrew County Real Estate Board totaled 171 units in June 2025. This was a gain of 4.3% (seven sales) from June 2024.

Home sales were 7% below the five-year average and 20.4% below the 10-year average for the month of June.

On a year-to-date basis, home sales totaled 801 units over the first six months of the year. This was down modestly by 3.6% from the same period in 2024.

The average price of homes sold in June 2025 was $496,691, a minor decrease of 3.3% from June 2024.

The more comprehensive year-to-date average price was $481,947, a small reduction of 2% from the first six months of 2024.

The dollar value of all home sales in June 2025 was $84.9 million, edging up 0.9% from the same month in 2024.

The number of new listings saw an advance of 33.6% from June 2024. There were 318 new residential listings in June 2025. This was the largest number of new listings added in the month of June in more than five years.

New listings were 12.3% above the five-year average and 5.3% above the 10-year average for the month of June.

Active residential listings numbered 599 units on the market at the end of June, up by 4.4% from the end of June 2024. Active listings haven’t been this high in the month of June in more than five years.

Active listings were 29.8% above the five-year average and 16.7% below the 10-year average for the month of June.

Months of inventory numbered 3.5 at the end of June 2025, unchanged from the 3.5 months recorded at the end of June 2024 and above the long-run average of 3.4 months for this time of year. The number of months of inventory is the number of months it would take to sell current inventories at the current rate of sales activity.
