Residential sales activity in the Greater Toronto Area slowed in the third quarter of 2026 compared to the third quarter of 2025.
Residential property sales numbered 16,049 units in the third quarter of 2026, down 4.2% compared to the same quarter in 2025.
Sales slowed 2.9% for single detached homes, were down 5.1% for semi-detached units, were down 4.1% for condominium townhouse units, and were down 3.5% for condominium apartment units compared to a year earlier in the third quarter.
