"Sales activity in Mississauga wasn’t far off from where it stood in the same month last year or the year before,” said Bill Duce, CEO of Cornerstone. “There hasn’t been a sustained and material recovery in housing demand in the local market yet, and inventories remain historically elevated. Sellers have stepped back from the market, seeing that their properties may not be moving or attracting as much attention as they would have otherwise hoped.” Mississauga Area Highlights: Home sales in Mississauga decreased by 5.8% from September 2025. The number of new listings decreased by 19.9% year-over-year. The Mississauga Home Price Index (HPI) was $903,600 in September 2026, down 1.1% month-over-month and 6.4% year-over-year. The total months of inventory numbered 5.1 months at the end of September 2026, down from 5.4 months at the end of September 2025 and above the long-run average of 3 months for this time of year.
