Windsor Employment Trends

 

The unemployment rate in Windsor was 8.5% as of March 2026, up 0.5% from the previous month. The unemployment rate stood 9% below the peak from May 2020 but remains above the long-run average.

There were 3,400 fewer full-time jobs in March 2026 compared to a month earlier. Combined with a gain of 1,000 part-time positions, this led to a decrease of 2,400 total jobs in March.

Full-time employment was down 13,000 jobs from the peak in September 2024 but stood 600 jobs above the trough in July 2025.
