Windsor Employment Trends
The unemployment rate in Windsor was 9.2% as of August 2024, up 0.1% from the previous month. The unemployment rate stood 8.3% below the peak from May 2020 but remains above the long-run average.
There were 1,100 more full-time jobs in August 2024 compared to a month earlier. A loss of 1,200 part-time positions led to a decrease of 100 total jobs in August.
Full-time employment has recovered since reaching a bottom in February 2024 and now stands at a record high.
