Edmonton Residential Activity

Residential sales activity in Edmonton slowed in the second quarter of 2026 compared to the second quarter of 2025.

Residential property sales numbered 8,437 units in the second quarter of 2026, down 8.5% compared to the same quarter in 2025.

Sales slowed 5.3% for single detached homes, were down 19.3% for townhouse and row units, and were down 18.6% for apartment units compared to a year earlier in the second quarter.
