Edmonton Residential Activity

Residential sales activity in Edmonton slowed in the third quarter of 2026 compared to the third quarter of 2025.

Residential property sales numbered 7,204 units in the third quarter of 2026, down 10.9% compared to the same quarter in 2025.

Sales slowed 8.1% for single detached homes, were down 16.2% for townhouse and row units, and were down 18.9% for apartment units compared to a year earlier in the third quarter.
