Residential property sales numbered 2,606 units in the fourth quarter of 2024, accelerating 17.4% compared to the same quarter in 2023.
Sales rose 23.2% for single detached homes, were down 1.3% for townhouse and row units, and were down 26.6% for apartment units compared to a year earlier in the fourth quarter.
Annually, residential property sales numbered 11,093 units in all of 2024. This was up 8% compared to the 10,275 units recorded in 2023.
