Residential Activity


Residential sales activity in the area served by the Nova Scotia Association of REALTORS® slowed in the second quarter of 2026 compared to the second quarter of 2025.

Residential property sales numbered 3,101 units in the second quarter of 2026, down 8.2% compared to the same quarter in 2025.

Sales slowed 7.8% for single detached homes, came in unchanged for townhouse and row units, and were down 2.4% for apartment units compared to a year earlier in the second quarter.
