Residential Activity


Residential sales activity in Newfoundland and Labrador slowed in the second quarter of 2026 compared to the second quarter of 2025.

Residential property sales numbered 1,321 units in the second quarter of 2026, down 10.2% compared to the same quarter in 2025.

Single detached home sales were down 11.3%, while sales of multi-family units were up 2.6% in the second quarter of 2026.
